  • Replace engine oil and filter.
  • Inspect and adjust all fluid levels including both differentials.
  • Inspect tire condition and adjust all tire pressures including spare tire.
  • Inspect operation of all lights, wipers and washers.
  • Inspect and adjust drive belt tension if necessary.
  • Inspect axle boot condition. Lubricate all latches, hinges and locks (hood, doors, fuel door and trunk lid).
  • Inspect all steering and suspension components.
  • Check under body for damage and leaks.

  • Rotate tires and inspect for wear. Perform wheel alignment if necessary (additional charge).
  • Inspect brake pads and linings.
  • Test engine coolant for strength (-35°C) and inspect hoses and clamps.
  • Road test vehicle.

  • Inspect air filter and replace if necessary.
  • Service and lubricate front and rear brakes.
  • Inspect cabin air filter and replace if necessary.
  • Road test vehicle.

  • Change spark plugs on Impreza and Forester (non-turbo).
  • Service fuel injection system (Terra Clean).
    		•   
         
         
         
    E
  • Inspect and service battery cables and terminals.
  • Inspect all emissions-related hoses.
  • Inspect and replace PCV valve if necessary (additional charge).
  • Inspect all hydraulic brake and clutch lines.
  • Inspect service and adjust parking brake system (includes EBD equipped vehicles).
  • Replace brake fluid.
  • Road test vehicle.

  • Replace transmission fluid (Automatic, Manual and CVT).
  • Perform AT bleeding.
  • Perform AT learning on 4AT, 5AT and CVT.
  • Replace front differential oil on AT and CVT.
  • Replace rear differential oil.
  • Replace spark plugs on all models.

      Every 168,000 km / 10 years (whichever occurs first):
  • Replacement of camshaft drive belts (except H6).
  • Check valve lash adjustment.

    • Every 10 years:
  • Inspect Supplementary Restraint System (SRS).

    • At 220,000 km / 11 years (whichever occurs first):
  • Flush cooling system, replace coolant and add Subaru Coolant Conditioner.
  • Repeat every subsequent 120,000 km / 6 years (whichever occurs first).
