Subaru Extended Protection Plan

Once your limited warranty period ends, your car will no longer be covered. However, if you purchase an extended Subaru protection plan, you can be assured that your needs will be met long after your limited warranty runs its course.

With three protection options ranging from the powertrain CARE protection plan, the major CARE protection plan, and the complete CARE protection plan, the choice is yours to decide which plan suits your needs the best.

Not only do each of these plans cover parts and labour for mechanical and electrical components, but they also offer additional benefits such as roadside assistance services, replacement car rental cost coverages, and inflation protection. Any plan can be tailored to fit your individual wants and needs, you can adjust the term of your protection plan, what it covers, and the amount of your deductible.

Powertrain CARE Protection Plan

As we mentioned earlier, there are three tiers of SPP, and once you've chosen the one that fits your needs, next you need to decide your deductible amount. If any repair is completed that's covered under SPP, all you have to pay is the deductible plus applicable taxes. If the same part were to fail again, there is no deductible payment required.

Depending on your vehicle, Subaru Protection Plan terms can range from three months/5,000 km to seven years/160,000km. Deductible rates range from $0, $100 or $250.

Major CARE Protection Plan

Subaru Protection Plan comes in three different tiers to suit your needs. Depending on your vehicle, Subaru Protection Plan terms can range from three months/5,000 km to seven years/160,000km.

Deductible rates range from $0, $100 or $250. Once, you have chosen the right plan that meets your needs, you must decide your deductible amount. Any repair that is completed under SPP, all you have to pay is the deductible plus applicable taxes. If for any reason the same part fails again, there will be no deductible payment.

Complete CARE Protection Plan

Depending on your vehicle, Subaru Protection Plan terms can range from three months/5,000 km to seven years/160,000km. You also decide the deductible amount, deductible rates range from $0, $100 or $250.

Subaru offers three tiers for you to choose from that suit your needs. If you repair anything that is covered under the SPP, you will pay the deductible plus applicable taxes. If for any reason, that part fails again, you pay no deductibles.

Protection Plan Benefits

The long-term value, peace of mind and the freedom from having to worry about costly repairs that come as a surprise are the reasons why Subaru Protection Plan is the best option. SPP includes great benefits that include:

Peace of Mind

Subaru has the benefit of a repair network that stretches across Canada and the United States, and when parts and labour are covered, you can feel more relaxed.

Budget Protection

Sometimes, we are in a situation where a repair is required, yet your savings account is low on funds. Don't worry, with SPP, you only pay the deductible for repairs performed by factory trained technicians.

Inflation Protection

Inflation impacts many of the products and services we purchase regularly. However, with SPP, you never need to worry about anything; just pay your deductible, which will never increase, and you're ready to go.

Tailored to Fit Your Needs

Most drivers utilize their vehicles in different ways; that's why SPP can be tailored to meet your specific needs. You can choose the term and what you want your plan to cover.

Resale Value

If you ever choose to sell your vehicle and get into a newer Subaru, know that SPP will help increase your resale value, as extra coverage is usually seen as an added value. The program is fully transferable.

Subaru 360 C.A.R.E Coverage

Roadside Assistance or known to us as Subaru 360 C.A.R.E. is also included in the purchase of any Certified Pre-Owned Subaru. We work closely with our partners at the Canadian Automobile Association to make sure you are taken care of in the case of any unforeseen problems you may face.

Replacement Car Rental Benefit

If your vehicle requires overnight service SPP will pay up to $45 per day to cover the cost of a rental vehicle. If you have any questions regarding any of the features and benefits of the Subaru Protection Plan, please contact us for more information.
