Technology and Infotainment Features

The standard infotainment system for the Outback features two 7.0-inch high-resolution touchscreen displays. The system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes with SiriusXM capability. Other infotainment capabilities include steering wheel integrated controls, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, and a USB-A control port.

An 11.6-inch Infotainment System is available for the Touring, Onyx, and Wilderness trims. This system features many of the same options as the dual 7.0-inch one. However, it also includes a USB-C control port and SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services.

SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services is a suite of in-vehicle technologies. These technologies connect the Outback to the world around you. The system is standard as a free three-year trial.

Interior Design and Comfort

The SUV's interior is designed with a comfort-first philosophy. The standard driver's seat for the Outback is a 10-way power-adjustable, which features two-way power lumbar support. The Limited, Limited XT, and Premier XT driver's seat is 12-way power-adjustable and comes with four-way power lumbar support.

The cabin is comfortable and spacious. The design gives all five passengers excellent visibility to the outside world. There's plenty of cargo space and technology inside to make life convenient. With the rear 60/40 split-folding seat folded down, the cargo area expands to a stunning 2,144 litres from the trunk's 920 litres volume.

Exterior Design and Functionality

The exterior of the SUV combines style and functionality with a stunning 220 mm of ground clearance. Having this clearance makes off-roading and travelling through harsher terrain easier. The Wilderness trim features 10 mm more clearance, giving it even more space before you receive damage from a pothole or other hazard.
