Available Trim Comparison
For trims, you can choose between Crosstrek's five trims: Convenience, Touring, Outdoor, Sport and Limited. These trims also have variants that offer the EyeSight driver-assist technologies for additional safety on the road. As standard, you will have 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto.
On the CX-30, there are three trims: GX, GS and GT. In comparison, the base model features 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, manual climate control, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto. The CX-30 lacks standard options, but it has the Crosstrek's options available for higher trims.
Safety Comparison
The Crosstrek's base Convenience trim with the CVT transmission has the EyeSight safety features as standard. You can expect your Crosstrek to have a rearview camera, pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane centring assist, lane departure warning, lane sway warning, lane-keep assist and lead vehicle start alert.
Standard safety features for the CX-30 consist of an electronic parking brake, rearview camera, hill launch assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Available safety options include adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, smart brake support for front and rear. For safety, the Crosstrek makes its features as standard with the EyeSight package, while the CX-30 matches the features but at a higher trim offering making it more expensive to get access to these features.
